Quotes. Sayings. Anything that I can find that speaks for me is something I love. I have a problem putting my thoughts onto paper and into words. I can put them on a canvas all day long with art, but when it comes to actually writing it down I fall quite short. I've never been much of a writer though. I mean on the test in school growing up I always scored a 5-6 out of 6. I was always ranked higher then most, but I've never been one to use
big fancy words or intellectual insight to make the reader feel as though the person writing this is very well educated. I've always used a less extensive vocabulary and just gone with whatever pops in my head. Half the time I wonder why I even have a blog. I mean do people really want to know what I have to say, do they even care and is it even of importance. Do I sound uneducated when I write this? Or does it really even matter what or how I write. I was always told growing up that the way a person writes is solely based upon that individual. Everyone writes different, everyone sees things in a different perspective, describes things in a different manner and relates to things in a different way. Just because one person may not like the way something was written but a person doesn't mean that the next person will view it the same way. “I think she was afraid to love sometimes. I think it scared her. She was the type to like things that were concrete, like the ocean. Something you could point to and know what it was. I think that's why she always struggled with God. And I think that's why she also struggled with love. She couldn't touch it. She couldn't hold on to it and make sure it never changed.”
“You stay safe, You love. You survive. You laugh and cry and struggle and sometimes you fail and sometimes you succeed. You Push."
“I realize that life is risks. It’s acknowledging the past but looking forward. It’s taking a chance that we will
make mistakes but believing that we all deserve to be forgiven.”
“Survivors aren't always the strongest; sometimes they're the smartest, but more often simply the luckiest."
“We are nothing more than our stories and who we love. What we pass on, how we exist … it’s having people remember who we are. We’re terrible at that in this world. At remembering. At passing it on.”
