Farmhouse signs

I loveeee farmhouse inspired signs

FAITH

I've been going through quite a lot lately....working, trying to get in SCAD, and so much more.  I was always raised to have God in my daily life but I've slowly veered away from that more and more without even noticing.  With moving to Georgia I've been able to do a lot of soul searching and with that came finding God once again!

Doodles....Doodles for dayz!

Doodling has sort of taken over my life here recently...not just like drawing in general but mostly typography styled artwork.  After I was chosen at THE ROW to do the chalkboards I realized I really enjoyed that style of artwork, and that I wanted to start getting better at it.

im already something to someone i dont even know

Sometimes we get caught up into what we are to someone or what we should be to a person that we fail to realize that their might be someone else out there that we are perfect for.  We are so focused in the now that we don't see the potential future.  I can say that I'm personally guilty for that....

Finding Myself....

“I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see.”

great words of wisdom

So everyone knows that I creep all over the internet and random stuff.  Like literally, most  of it is random from like 3 galaxies over in a different system.  Well, while looking at random stuff I came across this gem of inspiration.  It's raw and humorous and true.  I love every single little itsy bitsy piece of it honestly.  So enjoy and walk away from this with some inspiration, and some love for yourself.  Take pride in yourself and be strong for yourself. So with further ado please enjoy this little read down below...

Doors, doors, doors

They're the first thing a person will interact with at your house.  Whether to stare and push the doorbell or to knock on it.  You have to make an impression for people as soon as they walk up.  Now yes you have landscaping and what not, but your door does have some impact.  Especially for those

Tubs...with feet

Yes you read correctly.  I've always had this weird thing I guess where I want a old school bathtub that has feet and sits off the floor.  I'm not sure why and honestly it'll only ever happen if I remodel or build my future home.  They are just too neat looking not to love!  Elegant and charming, and

Pineapples

Pineapples.  I think my mini addiction to this fruit started last week when I came across a post on College Prep.  I mean I've always loved pineapples in general.  They taste good, they're healthy and we grow them in out backyard.

Artwork

So I finally decided to use the scanner my printer comes with.  My mother bought me the printer as a Christmas present this last year (2013).  I was so happy and thrilled too.  She knows how I am about printing things so that they are all neat and cleanly organized.  Well as the title says; I scanned a

Personal writings

So for a long time I'll be bored and have thoughts or writings that pop into my head.  Yes I do have this blog and could easily make another one for personal use that's set to private, but I've just always written it into a journal I received as a gift a few years ago.  Nothing wrong with putting some pen to paper to get creative juices flowing.  I feel as though I can now publicly put what I write

summer loves....

so we're definitely heading into summer here south of the Mason Dixon line.  With hot weather, lake boats, lightin' bugs and flowers blooming all around.  Those days where the lights at the ball field flicker all night long.  Where school's out for vacation and summer love is all around.  When

Be green this summer

and by green I mean share the love by planting.  Whether it be succulents in your windows, small planters on your porch, a garden in the yard or a greenhouse out back.  Planting is a big to-do for my family, and has been since I was a child.  I can't help but love watching the plants grow.  It's simply

Indigo

My color obsession currently.  I'm not sure why I love it so much but I notice that I'm being drawn to the boldness of it more and more.  It's something that stands out but is calming.  I just can't get enough of it though and I'm not complaining about it one bit.  But between indigo, mint, and

Cactus update

So if you read my last entry about Thomas wanting a cactus, you'd also know we planned on getting him one as a surprise.  Well like I stated my step mom and I went to Home Depot early today and

Words to remember ...

Quotes.  Sayings.  Anything that I can find that speaks for me is something I love.  I have a problem putting my thoughts onto paper and into words.  I can put them on a canvas all day long with art, but when it comes to actually writing it down I fall quite short.  I've never been much of a writer though.  I mean on the test in school growing up I always scored a 5-6 out of 6.  I was always ranked higher then most, but I've never been one to use
big fancy words or intellectual insight to make the reader feel as though the person writing this is very well educated.  I've always used a less extensive vocabulary and just gone with whatever pops in my head.  Half the time I wonder why I even have a blog.  I mean do people really want to know what I have to say, do they even care and is it even of importance.  Do I sound uneducated when I write this?  Or does it really even matter what or how I write.  I was always told growing up that the way a person writes is solely based upon that individual.  Everyone writes different, everyone sees things in a different perspective, describes things in a different manner and relates to things in a different way.  Just because one person may not like the way something was written but a person doesn't mean that the next person will view it the same way.
Time for some quotes that I absolutely adore at the moment:
