To my parents ...

So for a lot of people that know me, you know I come from a family whose parents divorced when I was a kid and then later on my father remarried.  And this video I came across on YouTube really really touched home with me.  maybe I'm just all in my feels about stuff because of the holidays but it brought up a lot of things I've never said and I should have already at this point in my life.  So with that said it's time for a vent session on my part.

A Mind That Overthinks....

Outgoing people with anxious minds tend to feel anxiety the most intensely, often because we don’t talk about it. And by “often” I mean never.
Our anxiety is a contrast to our big, bold personalities. Strangers would never guess it. We never know when to fight or flight, and our self-angst is maxed out. We are often the life of the party but can also be mind-numbingly introspective, questioning everything.

Oil Pastels*ugh*

So oil pastels are the absolute worst sometimes.....but I've been working really really REALLY hard to not break every single one of them in half as I'm attempting to improve myself and my art while using them.

A New Book To Read

So the book is called The Cuckoo's Calling.
Now it says it's by Robert Galbraith but if you're a reader, or just so happen to know, you would then know this is the pseudonym for J.K. Rowling.  It's also book 1 in a 3 series of stories called the "Cormoran Strike Series".  I do know from reading the inside of the cover and some slight research on the series that Cormoran Strike is the name of the detective in the storyline.

FAITH

I've been going through quite a lot lately....working, trying to get in SCAD, and so much more.  I was always raised to have God in my daily life but I've slowly veered away from that more and more without even noticing.  With moving to Georgia I've been able to do a lot of soul searching and with that came finding God once again!
